Adnetik is a company founded and run by agency veterans: former account managers, buyers, and planners who know what works and what doesn't in digital media. Collectively, our leadership team holds a Ph.D., a J.D., several M.B.A.s, and one patent (and counting). We've come to Adnetik from industry giants such as Google, Yahoo! Publicis, Aegis, and many others.

Edward Montes

Chief Executive Officer

As CEO of Adnetik, Ed is responsible for planning and implementing the company’s strategic direction, overseeing international operations, and delivering on the company’s vision to become world class marketing investment managers. In 2010, Ed oversaw the expansion of Adnetik into six international markets and was awarded LatinTRENDS Magazine’s Latino Trendsetter Award in the technology category. In 2011, he was named one of Boston Business Journal's Top 40 Under 40.

Prior to becoming the CEO at Adnetik, Ed served as the Manager Director for Havas Digital, North America, which included managing staff at five locations: New York, Boston, San Francisco, Chicago and Toronto, while continuing to drive strategic new business and special initiatives. In this role, Ed managed digital media planning and buying- including search and analytics, Mobext-mobile marketing, and AIS- Digital and Direct Creative agency. In 2009, he was recognized for his superior leadership with the Media All Star award by MediaWeek.  

Before joining Havas Digital, Ed worked at Yahoo! Inc. where he served as the Director of Special Projects for Yahoo!’s Media, Entertainment, Information, and Finance Groups. He has also served as a consultant to the wireless technology industry providing insight to the data application sector and delivery of advertising to mobile devices.

Prior to his transition to the interactive industry, Ed was a prosecutor in the Middlesex District Attorney’s office of Massachusetts, where he prosecuted numerous felonies and appellate actions. Montes graduated from Boston University School of Law and was a Cum Laude graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He continues to be a driving force in the interactive industry and regularly speaks at industry conferences in the US and abroad.


Nathan Woodman

Chief Operating Officer

Before joining Adnetik, Nate served as Senior Vice President of Havas Digital’s corporate development team where he was responsible for strategic planning. Prior to that, Nathan held many roles at Havas Digital, ranging from online media buying to data analytics and strategic communications planning. He has been recognized for his work with two MPG Innovation Awards, Advertising Age’s Up and Coming Marketer of the Year, Media Week’s Best Media Campaign, and an MIMC award for Best Advertising Campaign ROI Measurement.

Nate began his career at a start-up online advertising venture called HookMedia, where he launched the company’s core media planning and search engine capabilities. He also helped develop the company’s ad serving data and integration analysis product, known as Artemis.

Nate received an MBA from Babson College’s Olin School of Management, where he studied Entrepreneurship and Marketing Analytics, and was honored as Valedictorian upon graduation. He also holds a B.A. from Boston College with a double major in Philosophy and Communications. Currently, Nate resides in the historic shipbuilding town of Essex, Massachusetts, where his family operates Woodman’s of Essex – The Home of the Fried Clam.

Krishna Boppana

Vice President Product Management

Before joining Adnetik, Krishna served as Director of Marketing at Liberty Medical managing internet marketing and direct marketing activities. Prior to that, Krishna co-founded Vega IT Systems, which performed managed IT services for SMB markets.

Krishna also served as Principal at CSC where he helped to lay the platform foundation for finding early warning signs of product failures, such as the most recent Toyota recalls. He was also one of the original Technical Architect’s that helped develop Artemis, which is Media Contacts’ ad serving data and integration analysis product.

Krishna received S.M. from MIT in Engineering and Management with focus on software product strategy, marketing and systems architecture. He also holds MS in Computer Science from Northeastern University.

Timothy Anderson Flink

Managing Director, United Kingdom

Timothy joined the UK team as VP, Managing Director, UK, after having worked as VP, Global Data Operations since Adnetik’s inception. Timothy brings over ten years of digital advertising expertise to the Adnetik UK and global team.

As VP, Global Data Operations, Timothy oversaw all six of Adnetik’s Ad Operations teams around the globe. During this time, much of his energy was spent in the UK market supporting ad operations and assisting in strategy and agency relations.

In addition to his current role as Managing Director of the UK, Timothy has assumed additional responsibilities as the lead privacy officer for Adnetik globally. In this capacity, Timothy keeps a keen eye on the evolving online consumer privacy landscape, and continues to implement self-regulation policies and best practices across all of Adnetik’s markets.

Prior to joining Adnetik, Timothy worked for Havas’s digital planning and buying agency, Media Contacts. Throughout this time, he touched almost every area of digital advertising including display, paid search, online video, analytics, data quality, and agency operations. Timothy was also key in developing and implementing a custom implementation of MediaContact’s proprietary technology, Artemis, for its largest client in the US. During his tenure at MediaContacts, Timothy progressed from a Digital Display Planner/Buyer in Boston, MA, to Director of Data Operations for the entirety of the US market, overseeing data quality & accuracy, agency processes, and operational improvements.

Timothy received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Northeastern University, graduating with honors in a dual concentration of Management Information Systems and Marketing.

Mauricio Vázquez

Managing Director, Mexico

Mauricio Vázquez is the Managing Director of Adnetik México. For more than 13 years, he has worked to build digital advertising throughout Mexico and LATAM.

As a leader in the developing Mexican interactive market, Mauricio has held several positions with the country’s largest interactive associations including his role as Vice President of the IAB, member of the Asociacion Mexicana de Publicidad y Comercio Electronico (AMIPCI), and founding member of the  Digital committee at Consejo de Investigación de Medios (CIM).

Mauricio started his career at INFOSEL where he pioneered the development and selling of information services. He also worked for the interactive arm of Grupo Reforma, which was the first arm of Terra Networks in México. In this role, Mauricio was later responsible for developing the first IMS (Integrated Marketing Solutions) for portals, leading the Mexican market.

In 2004 he joined Media Contacts as Managing Director to establish the first interactive agency in México. In this role, he primarily expanded and developed new products and services which eventually claimed national and international recognition through various awards. In 2007, Mauricio went on to launch Havas Digital Mexico, which serves as the holding group for Media Contacts, Lattitud, Mobext, Iglue and AIS.

Mauricio studied at the Instituto Panamericano de Alta Dirección de Empresas IPADE and is a graduate of the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESEM), where he received honors in Marketing and Finance.


Fabrizio Bruzetti

Managing Director, Brazil

Prior to joining Adnetik, Fabrizio was the Brazilian Country Manager for Adobe/Omniture's Suite and Senior Sales Manager at Aunica - the tagnology company, where he has created and developed the team responsible for planning, designing, implementing and configuring the Adobe/Omniture's Suite for different players in Brazilian and Latin America Digital Market. Furthermore, he worked with the Business Development Team for Atlas (Microsoft Advertising Company), Emediate and other technologies represented by Aunica in the Latin America region, supporting different types of clients, such as: Agencies, Aviation Companies, Financial and Insurance companies, Real Estate Companies, Retailers and Publishers. 

Fabrizio also worked at Certifica.com (com.Score Company) as the Country Manager for Brazil. His main role was selling and implementing web analytics solutions to improve digital marketing performance in various industries. He studied Economy Science at Universidade São Judas Tadeu in São Paulo and in his free time, he enjoys practicing sports and spending time with his wife and son.

Björn Brouwer

Managing Director, The Netherlands

Before joining Adnetik, Björn worked for six consecutive years as Managing Director of Havas Digital in the Netherlands. In this role he lead the Media Contacts operation into a top five position in the Dutch market- winning industry leading clients like the Lotteries, KLM & Expedia. In addition, Bjorn was responsible for the Media Contacts search arm, which was the 2nd largest client with Google.

Björn also launched two successful media trading initiatives in the Netherlands for Havas Media. This eventually inspired him to join Adnetik to contribute to the revolution of the digital media industry. Bjorn has a master’s degree in Marketing Strategy and a MBA from the Tias-Nimbas & Bradford University. He is part of several industry committees and most recently joined the European Interactive Advertising Association.
